Design and manufacture of electrical distribution boards (DB/s) from Electrical Engineers’ specifications:
DBs - Single Phase as used for Apartments and Line Shops, and up to 3200A high Fault Level systems for Industrial, Commercial and Retail complexes.
Weatherproof (outdoor) DBs.
Material used in the manufacture of DBs: Electro-galvanised steel; Hot-dipped galvanised steel;
3CR12 stainless steel (the type of material would be as specified by the Electrical Consultants, or recommended for the environment of location).
We utilise CBI, Hager and Schneider switchgear, and are proud installers of ABB LV switchgear in our DBs, and where a Type Tested (TTA) option is specified for a DB, we would utilise the ABB ArTu assemblies.
Power Factor Correction systems, as part of a new DB or add-on to existing. We utilise Alpes Technologies capacitors / complete rack systems, Lovato capacitor-switching contactors, and Lovato PFC controllers. Our staff has received in-house training from our Supplier and we can therefore also offer on-site power factor assessments in collaboration with them, at minimal cost.
We also offer refurbishment and maintenance on existing systems.
Retrofitting on existing DBs (on-site modifications), where additional / upgrading of electrical components / supplies are required. This would include the assessment of the product and work required - at its location – in order to render an accurate costing and before commencing.
General sheetmetal parts (relating to DBs and enclosures), which is built to Clients’ requirements.
We also offer any other general sheetmetal parts and products.
We also assist the Electrical Contractor as far as is possible in meeting his installation criteria, by ongoing liaising as to the general arrangement of the final product. Our workshop staff are trained in complying to the relevant SANS requirements in the manufacturing processes. The final product is electrically and functionally tested, and in accordance with SANS 10142-1 routine test requirements.
